Strangely, in slow motion replay, the ball seemed to hang in the air for even longer.

What's EatFootball all about then?
EatFootball has really been a labour of love for programmer and designer and mad footy fans, Saint and Statto. Working part-time and fitting the site around our normal jobs, it's been a long hard slog - over 2 years of very hard work has gone into putting this site together and with that, we hope you will find EatFootball to be one of the best uk football sites in the country.

Why's it so good?
Well, it was built by two guy's who love the game. Fed up of the lack of true quality footy sites out there, we were sat in a pub one lazy Saturday during the Euros and wondered why everything in football had become so commercialised? The half-time Nike adverts between footage is fair enough, but why should aggressive marketing transcend onto our club websites? Why do we have to wrestle with intrusive popover ads and website membership charges just to see how our beloved teams are doing? So, it was with these thoughts in mind that EatFootball was born. We hope this the site encapsulates what football is really all about - The Fans...

Eatfootball is a place to enjoy the highs and lows of life as a supporter. Every team profile on the site brings together the best of real football fan blogs from around the country, the absolute very latest club news, and of course, all your team's fixtures, results and stats, all in one place. Alongside this, you will also notice your team profile page has a supporter zone section, where you can chat about upcoming games and talk to other like-minded supporters. And if you can't get to a computer to check the latest results, you can always add our totally free mobile phone football results to your phone. Hell, we know it's our favourite football site, we hope it will become yours too.

Remember - this site wasn't built by marketing men in suits to make money - this site was built by real football fans.

Your Hosts,
Saint and Statto - Keeping Footbal Costing not-a-lotto
